2026-27 SHS Athletic Registration Is Now Open!

We are very excited to announce that the Stayton High School Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. 

We are asking the parents/guardians of all students planning to play sports to create FinalForms accounts and register their student(s) for the 2026-27 school year.

1. Register Online: Go to https://northsantiam-or.finalforms.com/ and follow the prompts to create your account, create your student's account, and sign your forms.

      ● Tip #1: Students need to use their NSSD student account as their email address.  
      ● Tip #2: If you have an updated physical on file, we will transfer the physical to your FinalForms account.

 2. Review Annually: You may review your data at any time to verify its accuracy. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.

3. Need Help? Click on the Parent Playbook (attached) to get started. If you need any support during the process, simply scroll to the bottom of any FinalForms page and click “Get Help”. Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork processes at Stayton High School.

🌟 Celebrating Excellence: Owen Mitzel Named April Rotary Student of the Month! 🌟

Stayton High School is thrilled to announce Owen Mitzel as our Stayton Area Rotary Student of the Month for April! Owen is a standout student-athlete and leader who balances a rigorous academic schedule with a deep-seated commitment to service and his community. Having maintained an impressive 3.88 GPA throughout high school, Owen has consistently earned a spot on the Honor Roll for all four years. As a member of the National Honor Society and a nine-time recipient of OSAA Academic Honors, he has proven that he works just as hard in the classroom as he does on the field.

Whether he’s in the water, on the turf, or on the diamond, Owen leads by example. Beyond athletics, Owen serves as the Unified Club President, fostering inclusion within our school, and has dedicated four years to leading youth football and baseball camps to inspire the next generation of Eagles.

Service is a core family value. From a young age, he learned the importance of helping others while assisting his father with chores for senior church members, and he has carried that mission into his high school years. Today, he is an active member of the Salem Stake Youth Council Committee and serves as a Young Men Youth Representative for his church. Additionally, Owen has worked as a Head Lifeguard at the Albany YMCA for three years and has participated in the 9/11 National Day of Service.

Looking toward the future, Owen plans to gain college experience before embarking on a two-year mission for his church, with the goal of serving anywhere in the world. His ultimate career aspirations involve following in his father's footsteps as a firefighter or potentially pursuing a path in dentistry. Owen credits his fun, outgoing, and competitive family—parents Jill and Brian—for teaching him the true value of hard work and service.
